The effectiveness of the memory wheel strategy in enhancing educational thinking among first-year intermediate students in the Arabic language subject

Abstract

The goal of the research is to identify “the effectiveness of the memory wheel strategy in enhancing educational thinking among first-year intermediate students in the language subject.” To achieve the goal of the research, the following null hypothesis was formulated: (There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students. who will study using the memory wheel strategy and the average scores of the control group students who will study according to the usual method in the educational thinking test). The researcher adopted an experimental design for two equal groups. The researcher chose (Al-Nawras Middle School for Boys) intentionally, and parity was conducted for the two groups in variables: (chronological age in months, previous information in the subject of the Arabic language, intelligence, and the educational thinking test). With regard to the research tool, an educational thinking test consisting of (20) items was prepared, which the researcher prepared based on previous studies. The validity, reliability, ease and difficulty coefficient, discrimination coefficient, and effectiveness of the false alternatives were calculated. For this test, the results showed that the students of the experimental group who studied using the memory wheel strategy outperformed the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method of educational thinking. In light of this, the researcher came up with a number of conclusions, recommendations, and proposals that were mentioned in Chapter Four.
