Abstract
The educational counselor has the fundamental and effective role in the counseling process، as a contributor to helping the counselors and solving their problems، in addition to the process that the counselor carries out to directly or indirectly express his inner emotional and emotional state through facial expressions، physical movements، verbal expressions، and voices. The educational counselor is considered a role model. He is a model of ethical behavior، so his role and responsibilities require that he be of good moral ability and ability، guidance tasks assigned him، because he thus contributes to bringing about positive change in the guidance situation، so the research aimed to identify:
1- Positive emotional display among educational counselors.
2- There is no statistical difference according to the gender variable in the positive emotional display of educational counselors.
3- There is no statistical difference according to the variable (experience) in the positive emotional display of educational counselors.
4- Moral empowerment among educational counselors.
5- There is no statistically significant difference in moral empowerment according to the variable “gender” among educational counselors.
6- There is no statistical difference according to the variable (experience) in moral empowerment among educational counselors.
7- There is a correlation between the two research variables، positive emotional display and moral empowerment among educational counselors.
- The approved research method: In his current research، the researcher adopted (the descriptive، correlational method) as it is the must appropriate method for nature of the research and its procedures.
- The research procedures are: The carrent research poulation consists of (567) educational counselors working in general education in Dhi Qar Governorate، and that research sample of (200) male and female counselors was chosen، with (100) male and (100) female educational counselors (2023). – 2024)، and to (positive emotional display and moral empowerment) in light of the literature، frameworks and theoretical models that explained the two research variables، as the measure of positive emotional display consisted of (22) items، while the answer alternatives were graded. The four ،When correcting the items of the scale، the following weights items that trend in the direction of the variable. As for the moral empowerment scale، it is of (1، 2، 3، 4). 20) paragraphs. The answer alternatives are the same in the first variable and take the same correction. That psychometric properties of the two scales were exitracted froom (validity & reliability)، and dataa were statistically analyzed using th Staatistical Package for the Social Sciences and the results showed the following:
1- That research sample has a high percentage of positive emotional expression.
2-There is no statistical difference based on the gender variable in the positive emotional display of educational counselors..
3-There is a statistically significant difference according to the variable of experience in the positive emotional display of educational counselors.
4- The current research sample has a good percentage of moral mastery.
5- There is no statistically significant difference in moral empowerment according to the variable “gender among educational counselors.
6- There is a statistically significant difference according to the experience variable in moral empowerment among educational counselors.
7- There is a correlation between the two research variables، positive emotional display and moral empowerment among educational counselors.
