Intelligent thinking and Its Relationship to Academic Achievement among Students of the College of Basic Education
Abstract
The research aims to:
- Identifying the level of clever thinking among students of the College of Basic Education.
- Identify the differences in clever thinking between males and females.
- Identifying the correlation between clever thinking and academic achievement among students of the College of Basic Education.
To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, as the research community consisted of all students of the Faculty of Basic Education at Sumer University (males - females) for the academic year (2022-2023). The research sample amounted to (100) male and female students, with a total of (50) students. And (50) female students. The researcher adopted a scale (Al-Saffar, 2008) to measure students’ clever thinking. It consisted of (30) items, and after the researcher used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program to
process the data statistically. The results revealed a correlation between the level of clever thinking and academic achievement among students of the College of Basic Education. A number of recommendations and proposals were presented in light of the final results of the research.
