The poetic deviation in the poetic collection (Qabas al-Ilham) By the poet Abdul Hassan Khudair Obaid Al-Muhyawy

Abstract

The importance of deviation is evident as it carries a shortened and intense artistic value for the poetic language that critics have distinguished from communicative language. In this sense, it provides a broad avenue for research into the linguistic depth of the semantics of words. The aim of this research is to investigate the most important methods of displacement that formed a phenomenon among the poet Abdul Hassan Al-Muhyawy and study them. And how he employed artistic connotations and their aesthetic dimensions, to form his own poetic language expressing his emotional experience with its moral and suggestive dimensions, going beyond the standard and penetrating the depth of meaning and its various connotations. These shifting dimensions were represented in the study of substitutional deviation and poetic symbolism.
