The significance of advance and delay in the verse of monotheism in the Holy Qur’an
Abstract
“The grammatical phenomena varied in the verses of monotheism in the Holy Qur’an, and it was necessary to clarify their connotations in expression, and to touch upon their rhetorical aesthetics in speech. I chose for study in this research the phenomenon of precedence and delay because of its distinguished position in the Arabic language, and it takes on a higher dimension in behavior in speech.” The arts of speech, starting from the most eloquent book that speaks the truth, which is the Holy Qur’an, the greatest explanatory miracle and the highest example.”
“The research was divided into two sections. The first section was devoted to explaining the concept of precedence and delay in language and terminology and the most important studies that preceded Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani in this field. The second section was devoted to explaining the significance of precedence and delay in the verses of monotheism in the Holy Qur’an. I followed the descriptive and analytical approach in presenting the verses. Contained in the context of monotheism, and clarifying the significance of this grammatical phenomenon in expressing the oneness of God Almighty in the Holy Qur’an.
