Abstract

     England, by virtue of its geographical location - which makes it isolated from the European continent from a natural standpoint and gives it a distance from its wars, and its historical development and gradual reforms, as well as the nature of the English individual and his temperament inclined to love and adore democratic life - constituted the precedence among the countries of the European continent in establishing parliamentary constitutions, which Its political and social life was codified according to it, and its society has witnessed democratic life since the year 1215 AD, when the knights and barons forced King John I to issue the Great Covenant “Macna Carta”, thus laying the foundation for constitutional life, which trimmed the nails of the absolute king’s powers for the first time in the history of England.
