Abstract

The study of religious and political figures is one of the most important topics in the contemporary history of Lebanon, because these figures possess an intellectual vision and political awareness framed by the ideological dimension, which has a significant impact on the upward movement of society. Therefore, the topic of Sheikh Ragheb Harb and his political role in Lebanon until 1984 is from  Important topics because he is a prominent southern figure and has a clear role on the social, religious, political and jihadi levels.
