Whereas Greek mythology or Greek mythology is concerned with their gods, other mythical characters, and the nature of the world, and is considered the basis of their religious and ritual practices, mythology was part of religion in ancient Greece, and part of religion in contemporary Greece, as it is practiced today by some people.
