Spatial analysis of antiquities and heritage in Shatrah and Dawaiya using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Abstract

    ntiquities and heritage represent an essential part of people's identity and history, as they reflect cultural and civilizational development throughout the ages. Monuments include ancient buildings, inscriptions, tools, and statues left by previous civilizations. As for heritage, it includes customs and traditions, arts, and literature that are transmitted through generationsThe study aims to apply the methodology of spatial analysis of the archaeological and heritage sites of the city of Shatrah and Ad-Dawaiya using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, through the tools this technology contains of spatial analysis.
