This study dealt with the town of Bouazij al-Malik, located in the south of the Euphrates Peninsula, and investigated its religious, political, and scientific conditions, as this town was important in the history of Christianity in Iraq as an episcopal center for Christians in the Islamic era, as well as its political events, as it was the center of two important rebel movements in the Abbasid era, and witnessed a flourishing movement with the emergence of a number of scholars who excelled in several fields of legal sciences.
