Abstract

Islamic history is full of many outstanding personalities, who left a great impact among Muslims even after their death, and among them is Uwais Al-Qarni, who was an example of asceticism, courage, patience, and strength of faith. Islam and the love of the Messenger (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) blended his heart, mind, and soul, and he did not see it. Never until the Messenger (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) died. He lived unknown among the people of earth, known to the inhabitants of heaven. He reached the highest levels through his striving for himself and his keenness to His recommendation, and he was one of the successful ones. Muslims did not know his status with God Almighty until the Noble Messenger referred to him on several occasions in which he explained the greatness of his ability and the strength of his faith, and he advised the Muslims to strive to meet him and seek his supplication, for he will answer his prayers, and he will intercede for many people on the Day of Resurrection. He was not one of the companions, so they lowered his status, but rather they raced to win his supplication. They went to him to fulfill their needs, and he did not accept any of the worldly ruins from them, despite the fact that he was living below the subsistence level. So God rewarded him with martyrdom under the banner of the Commander of the Faithful Ali (peace be upon him) in the Battle of Siffin, between Ammar bin Yasser and Khuzaymah bin Thabit, was, as the

Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) said about him, the best of followers.  so history immortalized him.
