Self-Management and Its Relationship to Administrative Creativity among Deans of Colleges at Sumer University from the Perspective of Department Heads

The study aimed to identify the extent to which deans of colleges at Sumer University practice self-management and administrative creativity in their management, from the perspective of department heads. The research sample consisted of (20) department heads distributed across the university's colleges. For the practical aspect, the researcher used the descriptive approach and also relied on the statistical package (SPSS). The results of the study revealed that deans of colleges at Sumer University possess high levels of self-management, in addition to high levels of administrative creativity. There is a relationship between the dimensions of the two variables, as it was found that there is a positive, direct correlation between the dimensions of self-management and administrative creativity.
