This research aims to study the structures of the active participle and their connotations in the poetry of Al-Kumait bin Zaid Al-Asadi. Al-Kumait left a poetic achievement worthy of study and research that indicates a creative faculty possessing good capabilities in shaping the language. The structures of the active participle appeared abundantly in his collections in all their standard and non-standard forms, reaching (Two hundred and eighty-seven) individual triliteral and non-triliteral passive passive verbs, with various connotations, some of which indicate renewal and occurrence, some of which indicate reception, and other connotations determined by the context and confirmed by the accompanying speech clues.
