Abstract

     American Jews have played an important role in supporting the Zionist entity since its establishment in Palestine in 1948. Their support was not limited to the economic aspect only, but also to other aspects such as the political and social aspects. They were able to direct the policy of American presidents to support the interests of the Zionist entity in Palestine by supporting their election campaigns financially and in the media. Perhaps one of the most prominent contemporary Jewish figures who played an important role in influencing American presidents is Sheldon Adelson.
