Religious references and their impact on shaping the discourse of place in the Islamic era

Abstract

    There is no doubt that the place with the Islamic soul and sense occupies a special place in the thought of the recipient belonging to a religion, and the importance of the holy place and the attachment to it comes from the system of cognitive references that are active in human behavior in general, especially since the sanctity of those places with their different references is undoubtedly reflected in the consciousness of the recipient, so the church, monastery, temple, mosque and monastery are places that acquired their sanctity as a place for the worship of God Almighty; and from here came their sanctification.
