Abstract

The issue of cultural criticism and its relationship with aesthetic and cognitive criticism has occupied a wide scope within critical studies in their various forms. Each has evolved into what resembles a distinct critical trend due to its association with specific intellectual values and foundations, aiming to uncover the concealed and marginalized elements embedded within the text. Each of these approaches applies different interpretative frameworks to texts, the significance of which lies in highlighting the artistic, thematic, and aesthetic values present in literature. They confront the literary work through artistic rules and principles, examining its genre, its emotional and expressive values, and the extent of their conformity with these principles.
