Narratives in the Iraqi Novel: Pre-2003 Novels as a Model

Abstract

    The novel is not born out of a vacuum, but rather is the product of an interactive relationship between Its creator and the social contexts and system within whose frameworks he writes, as he is an offshoot of it. The novel is an artistic sense that works to condense reality and reflect it as if it were a mirror and a direct reflection of reality. It must be affected and changed according to these changes in terms of the narrative, structural, and thematic components.
