The doomsday In Surat Al-Waqi’ah
Abstract
This research aims to identify the theme of the doomsday in blessed Surat Al-Waqi'ah; Because this day is of great importance in all monotheistic religions, especially the true Islamic religion, which made belief in the doomsday one of the pillars of faith on which the Muslim's belief is based. Perhaps this day is one of the important controversial issues between the monotheistic religions and the pagan religions that deny its existence and do not believe in it. This day is of great importance in this blessed Surah. As it occupied a large Quranic space in which it constituted approximately two-thirds of the number of its blessed verses. In its entirety, it talks about some of the scenes of the Day of Resurrection, the fate of the believers and the types of bliss they receive, and the fate of the unbelievers and the types of torment they receive. We note that this blessed Surah spoke in some detail about the doomsday, more than any other Surah, despite the small number of its verses and its shortness compared to other long surahs such as Surat Al-Baqara, Surat Al-Imran, Surat Al-Nisa, and Surat Al-Ma’idah. The objectivity on which the blessed Surah is based is in this place exclusively.
