Obstacles to the use of educational media in teaching science at the primary level from the perspective of male and female science teachers

Abstract

The aims this research to identify the obstacles to using educational media in teaching science at the primary level from the perspective teachers. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher followed the descriptive research approach. The research sample size reached (90)male and female teachers in the Al-Rifai Education Department for the academic year(2024-2025). The research tool was a questionnaire on the obstacles to using educational media, prepared by the researcher according to the likert scale. It consisted of (45) paragraphs with a five-point scale distributed over (7) areas. After processing the date statistically, the researcher concluded that: Obstacles to using educational media were present at a moderate level, and at a minimal level among the science teachers in the research sample , and that the factors(gender and years of service) did not affect the degree of availability of obstacles to using educational media.
