Measuring the productive orientation of Karbala University employees

Abstract

     The current research aims to Measuring the productive orientation for University employees and identify the significance of differences in productive orientation according to sex (males، females). For the purpose of achieving this goal، the researcher chose a sample consisting of (400) male and female from of Karbala University employeesyear (2022-2023). The researcher built a measure the productive orientation based on the theory (Fromm ، 1972). The researcher also statistically analyzed the items and verified the psychometric properties of (validity، reliability). After confirming the validity of the tool through validity and reliability indicators، applying this tool to the research sample and then collecting the data and processing it statistically ، The current research concluded that of Karbala University employees feel the productive orientation. The results also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the productive orientation according to sex. In light of these results reached in the current research، a set of recommendations and proposals were developed.
