Abstract

The contemporary world has faced a range of problems and abnormal phenomena that did not exist in the past. As a result of the religious and spiritual void in non-Muslim societies, people have started to turn to innovative solutions. Among the most prominent of these problems in Western societies are issues of gender identity, gender determination, and gender change, which arise as a result of sexual deviance. Some individuals now wish to change their gender to satisfy their psychological desires. Unfortunately, laws have been enacted to accommodate this phenomenon. This research will examine the perspectives of the Abrahamic religions on the topic of gender change or transgenderism, relying on the texts of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, as well as the rulings of the Old and New Testaments and the Jewish Talmud.
