Social Interpretation of the Holy Quran: An Interpretation by Al-Shirazi as a Model

Abstract

   Attention is focused on the interpretation of the Qur'anic text, in all ways, methods and directions, in order to highlight its features     Timeless, as the scholars of interpretation were not limited to a particular approach without the other throughout the interpretive stages and methods, and this is due to the freshness of the Qur'anic texts and the universality of the divine message of all human societies, and since man is indispensable for the Qur'anic text in all cases, including solving social and doctrinal problems, and other problems facing society, the social interpretation has emerged on the interpretive arena, as is the case with methods, trends and colors in interpretation, in a way that secures the human need and social nature, as the first scholars of interpretation Their interest in it, after the interpretive stagnation and the limitation of some interpretive methods that are concerned with the aspect of language and the statement of the Qur'anic word or the repetition of the same methods in the interpretation of the Qur'anic text, as the first interpretive stations have been shown by Al-Afghani in a simple way and then Muhammad Abd and the rest of the scholars who followed the pattern of the social trend because the modern era in the permanence of modernity and development so one of the miraculous tasks of the Qur'anic text is to keep pace with modernity in societies, in other words, the Holy Qur'an cannot be made in A narrow circle, which is the period of the Muhammadan message and its end, but the Qur'an has validity and permanence of survival until God wills  therefore    One of the scholars who adopted the social interpretation is Sheikh Nasser Makarem Shirazi in his best interpretation, as he applied the Qur'anic verses to the reality of society and addressed the social problems that have gnawed at the Islamic society, and the societies that led it to the vortex of globalization among Western societies, in the sense of openness to the rest of the peoples and the acquisition of their miserable culture.
