Educational thinking among early grade teachers
Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the level of educational thinking among first-grade teachers. The researcher adopted the descriptive method and defined the study population as first-grade teachers in public daytime primary schools (Al-Shatra Education Department and Al-Rifai Education Department). The sample consisted of (220) male and female teachers, divided according to gender and years of experience.
To achieve the objectives, a test was constructed to measure educational thinking among first-grade teachers, consisting of (30) multiple-choice items with four alternatives each. The validity and reliability of the instrument were verified, and its psychometric properties were examined. The educational thinking test was administered to the sample on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and the application was completed by Wednesday, March 12, 2025 Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software to derive the study’s findings
