The effect of the idea filtering strategy on the acquisition and retention of Arabic grammar rules among second-grade middle school female students
Abstract
The current research aims to investigate the impact of the idea filtering strategy on the acquisition and retention of Arabic grammar rules among second-year middle school students. The researcher intentionally selected Al-Raja Secondary School for Girls, which includes three classes. She randomly selected Class (C) to represent the control group and Class (A) to represent the experimental group. The number of students in each group was 25. The researcher conducted statistical equivalence between the students in the two groups on several variables, including age, calculated in months, and Arabic grammar grades. The researcher also identified the academic topics and behavioral objectives, prepared a multiple-choice achievement test, and verified its validity and reliability.
