Abstract
The current research aims to identify the basic rules upon which Islamic education teaching methods are built from the perspective of its teachers. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher adopted the descriptive correlational approach, as it is the appropriate method for the nature and objectives of the research. The researcher randomly selected a sample of Islamic education teachers in the primary schools affiliated with the Al-Rifai Education Department as a sample for the research. The sample size reached (100) male and female teachers, (50) male teachers and (50) female teachers. As for the research tool, the researcher developed an open questionnaire, as it is one of the most widely used tools because it contributes to obtaining sufficient and accurate information. Therefore, the researcher directed an open question to the sample of Islamic education teachers, numbering (100) male and female teachers, (50) male teachers and (50) female teachers. In light of this, the researcher obtained a set of basic rules upon which Islamic education is built, namely, the progression from the known to the unknown, the progression from the easy to the difficult, the progression from the whole to the part, and the progression from the tangible to the semi-tangible. To the abstract and the gradation from simple to complex to more complex and the gradation from the clear and specific to the vague and the gradation from the familiar to the unfamiliar. And the gradation from direct to indirect, the researcher presented the basic methods to a group of experts and arbitrators to take their notes and opinions about the validity of the two tools and calculate the apparent validity and logical analysis of the paragraphs of the two tools and then they were applied to the exploratory sample to find the stability and then the researcher applied the two tools to the main research sample, and its results were analyzed with the help of the statistical package (SPSS) in addition to the use of some statistical equations, and the research came out with a set of results including: Good teaching depends on the use of sound thinking in it, and this can only be done by testing the correct basic rules of teaching. A set of recommendations was recommended, including the interest and support of the Ministry of Education in developing the skills of middle school teachers in Dhi Qar Governorate.
