The subject of travel and travel is considered an important subject. During their travels, travelers passed through many stations through which they described the geographical location of the places they visited, in addition to transferring aspects of civilization from those countries to their countries. Therefore, we find the Spanish orientalist Palencia discussing those travels and the travelers who made them, as he considered this aspect a means of developing sciences and knowledge and learning about the conditions of different countries through the accurate description they made and through watching and attending scientific circles that were held in many parts of the inhabited world and learning about social customs and traditions and watching the celebrations and holidays that were held, in addition to presenting the most important motives and reasons that prompted these personalities to make those trips and the dangers that surrounded them. Therefore, we find an accurate description of those who want to play the role of the traveler during that period in which these travelers lived.
