Abstract

It is difficult for any of the common people to be able to describe one of the personalities of the People of the House, peace be upon them. The great of them cannot be measured and the smallest of them is an ember that cannot be trampled on. How could it not be that they were the same as their grandfather, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. Writing about them is like writing about describing miracles, and if we limit the hadith to About Imam Al-Hadi, peace be upon him, the subject of our research, who occupied the world with his knowledge, asceticism, and his countless deeds. He was the talk of scholars’ councils and political councils, and his mention always worried state politicians at that time. This is what prompted Caliph Al-Mutawakkil to bring him, peace be upon him, from Medina to Samarra, and it was the reason behind this anxiety and fear. It is the inclination of common people towards him because of the great qualities they have seen and felt The pens of many scholars and thinkers wrote down their opinions regarding the person of the Imam, and some of them belonged to sects contrary to the doctrine of Ahl al-Bayt, the true Muhammadan doctrine.
