Plagiarism in Quranic Expression: A Semantic Study

Abstract

    This study aims to analyze the connotations of theft in the Holy Quran, by examining the verses that address this topic and understanding the linguistic, legal, and moral dimensions associated with it. It also seeks to understand Islam's approach to this crime from an educational and reformative perspective The importance of this research stems from its addressing a social and ethical issue that continues to pose a challenge to contemporary societies, especially with the development of modern forms of theft, such as electronic theft and identity theft. By studying theft in the Holy Quran, a comprehensive vision can be derived that addresses the crime from its roots, with a focus on prevention and education before reaching the stage of punishment.
