The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of an educational program designed in light of Reigluth 's expansive theory in developing creative writing skills in sixth-grade students. The study followed an experimental design with two groups; control and experimental, consisting of (57) students, using a creative writing test along with a student grading card. After verifying its psychometric properties, the educational program was implemented in three lessons in the "The World Around Us" unit, leading to a statistically significant difference in the average scores of the experimental group in the pretest and posttest of the test in favor of the posttest application. Additionally, the program achieved high effectiveness compared to the control group performance. The study recommended the inclusion of the program in training programs and teacher guides, as well as conducting further studies to investigate its impact on other language skills such as functional writing and critical reading
