The Impact of the Critical Friend Strategy on the Achievement of Basic Education College Students and the Development of Life Effectiveness Skills in the Specialized Teaching Methods Course
Abstract
The current research aims to identify the effect of (the critical friend strategy on the achievement of students of basic education colleges and the development of life effectiveness skills in the specialized teaching methods course), and the researcher followed the experimental method, as it is the closest to achieving the objectives of his research, and the research sample consisted of (72) male and female students from the Department of First Grade Teachers / College of Basic Education / Sumer University, divided into an experimental group consisting of (35) male and female students and a control group consisting of (37) male and female students, and the researcher prepared a post-test for achievement consisting of (30) objective paragraphs and (10) essay paragraphs, so that the total number of test paragraphs was (40) paragraphs. The researcher confirmed the validity and reliability of the test, and the pre-post life effectiveness skills scale, which consisted of (30) five-alternative paragraphs, which the researcher applied to the research sample. After correcting the test, the results of the study showed the superiority of the experimental group over the control group, and the researcher presented a set of proposals and recommendations.
