The effectiveness of a training program based on the reflective learning strategy on the teaching performance and flexible thinking of the implementing students
Abstract
This research aims to identify "the effectiveness of a training program based on the reflective learning strategy on the teaching performance and flexible thinking of the implementing students." The research population consisted of all fourth-year students at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Thi Qar University. The research sample consisted of (50) male and female students, with (25) for the experimental group and (25) for the control group. The researcher equated the two groups on several variables. The researcher developed an observation tool to evaluate teaching performance and a scale for flexible thinking. The validity and reliability of the two tools were verified, and the data were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences ( SPSS) program. After implementing the training program, the researcher reached results, including: The experimental group outperformed the control group in teaching performance and flexible thinking. The researcher made a set of recommendations, including: studying the effectiveness of the training program on other variables.
